Sage Yadarishi is said to have performed penance here and received darshan of Lakshmi Narasimha in the cave. The hill became Yadagirigutta — a living center of Narasimha bhakti for Telangana and beyond.

For the yatri

The cave sanctum can be crowded on weekends and festival days — weekday mornings are calmer. Climbing steps is part of the yatra for many; vehicular access is also available. Keep silence inside the cave shrine.
